This camera is specially dedicated to a scientific use. It does not have a viewfinder, The first version was proposed in the 60s to be used on the Leitz copy stand "Reprovit" or for microphotography on a microscope.
It is equipped with a shutter ranging from the second to the thousandth and B. The housing has separate contacts for magnesic flash or electronic flash units.
14500 copies were manufactured from 1967 to 1976 and it has been replaced in 1977 by the LeicaMD2.

The camera condition is good and would make a perfect street photography camera when team with a 35mm lens and viewfinder
